When did excalibur make a 165# exocet?

I bought my 165 Exocet carved tip after they were introduced in 1992.

I noticed when I went back and looked at the pictures that it has carved tip limbs. It looks brand new so I don't think it was used much and the guy wants 450 for it. I will stick with the mag tip limbs though so will keep looking.

just had my exocet 165 with carved limbs upgraded to the mag tip limbs, the old ones were starting to splinter and i was having a hard time finding the string. took it in to excalibur in kitchener and they were installed while i waited. $80 and had a great mind picking conversation with peter while he installed them!

I will look into getting some mag tip limbs and decide if I want to purchase it or not. Am hoping to find a good 185# or 200# exocet. When I do find the right one I won't hesitate to pick it up

On the Exocet 165 carved tip, what are you using? Know it's dacron (using B50) but how many strands? Standard (?) 32 or going 36-40 for quieting it? And how much do you really notice it quieting?
