Matrix 380 limb test

Any recommendations on if or how long I should leave my new matrix 380 in the cocked position to check for limb issues? 4 hrs? 12 hrs? Days?

i dont think it matters much. ive read where limbs go after hard use as well as less than 100 shots. if your stretching a string maybe a few hours to overnight.i think its more important to keep an eye on brace height and making sure the arrow is fully seated against the string. check all bolts,screws and i would shoot more than the recommended minimum arrow weight. even following all those things stuff can still happen.

I have never found a failure doing this, but recommend it, mainly to set the string. I do it every time I on mine when I install a new string, 2 or 3 all night cocks and never have to adjust BH as often as some complain about. But I would guess their would be some benefit to stressing the limbs,, but like was said its a great way to get most of the stretch out of any string quick.
