Plano Bow Max and Matrix/Munch combo?

Post by RobD »

Has anybody ever tried to see if a Matrix with a Munch Mount actually fits in the Plano Bow Max 1131 hard case? I'm looking for a case for my Matrix, and have it narrowed down to the Tarantula and the Bow Max. Searching only yielded one user that said it had to be removed, but didn't reply to an inquiry as to why.

I don't travel with the bow, mostly going to be storage in the house and on occasion a few miles to local hunting area. My suburban can hold the Bow Max easily. I'm mostly concerned with protective storage while in the house. If the Bow Max doesn't fit, I'd rather put it in a soft case and hang it on the wall in the storage room.

I have the bowmax double bow case that I use for flying but I don't use a munch mount. The issue may be clearance with the top. If you just need protection for storage and driving I use the Excalibur padded soft case. If you use the one for the Exo series it'll fit with the top mount and you don't have to break down your bow.
