Well I'll be darned..
Just chatting with a gal on Facebook about hunting, and her daughter came up. When she said her name a bell went off in my head. I put two and two together and realized I was talking to Julie, Makenas mother.
Makina is apparently a big fan of venison, and squirrel. I invited her family to our home for a squirrel hunt, then realized it was the same person.
Still kinda choked up after hearing the story, but this little lady just got a lot closer to home. I suspect her family will be joining mine soon to zap some squirrel, I know a couple other little ladies that happen to live at my house that will make Makena feel like the princess she is.
Don, you did very well on all of this, proud to know you, sir.
