Micro limb failure - how long does the warranty process take

Post by WarriorWithin »

Hey guys,

I had just gotten settled into my stand this afternoon when I heard a strange cracking/popping noise. Didn't know what it was until I realized my micro was attempting to make a left turn! Although I'm a little upset I'm confident excalibur will take care of this. I was just wondering how long the process usually takes? I'm only a couple of hours from them up here in Canada but don't have the time to drive there. Any ideas? I was hoping to be back up and running by the weekend, is that a little unrealistic?

Thanks

Call them tomorrow morning after they open, they will send you the parts and guarantee you will be up and running before the weekend

In Ontario it depends mostly on the Postal system and how quickly you receive a RMA response during the busiest time of year at Excalibur. Read Peter the Marketing Dude's post above and follow his directions for Excalibur's best warranty service.

Well guys I emailed the warranty department as well as started there online warranty process yesterday and before 9 o'clock this morning I had an email from Excalibur indicating my new limbs would be sent out ASAP! Another great reason to buy an Excalibur.

Excalibur's customer service was excellent! I got my limbs in the mail right to my door this morning and installed the new limbs this evening. Quite pleased with how it all worked out. I also purchased some spare limbs from them as back ups in case I have another issue and need my bow for the couple days it takes to get replacement parts. Hopefully the wind dies down tomorrow so I can sight it in!

I bet there working over time in the limb department..best bet is to get a spear set of limbs & shoot before you head out to hunt..cant see getting up @ 3;30 taking the drive then the failure..plus the bows poi will be off..i think theres a need for metal or something other than just glass in the limbs
