Varizone Question
While moving my crossbow in my truck, I noticed that the top cover over the adjustment knob was loose. I started to tighten it when I noticed it was making a clicking sound. It almost sounded like I was making an adjustment to my scope settings. Am I just being paranoid? Usually with scope adjustment covers you just tighten them down until they reach the end of the threaded travel. Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Varizone Question
It's either threaded properly and tightens down or it isn't and doesn't. Is it stripped because that's what it sounds like.

You're only paranoid if everyone isn't out to get you.

Re: Varizone Question
Thanks. That's probably what it is. My bow is sighted in and I was hoping not to repeat the process.
Re: Varizone Question
'Sighting in' may take some effort but just checking the bow doesn't (assuming you have a target). I actually don't target shoot much, so it's always reassuring to set the bag out and at least shoot once, say at 30yds? Takes all of 5min and tells me nothing major has gone wonky.
