Hydro Dipping Limbs

Well I'm embarking on another custom bow build with a matrix .
I've got a set of limbs that are real tree and I'm going with the idea of having them dipped black carbon .
Has anyone of you good folk done anything like this.
I'm wondering how that process lasts .
Don't want to do it if it flakes off after a short while .
I seem to recall Terry (munch) did this but I'm not sure if I remember right,if it was actually he.

get a hold of munch mounts.(terry) he did a custom dip for me on my stock and limbs he will have a few good pointers for you.
