Advice on Selling Exomax

Post by va3cgt »

So I'm trying to sell my Exomax because I fell in love with another woman (Micro335). So I place an ad on Kijiji and the ad disappears an hour later. Apparently selling "weapons" violates the terms. Sheesh.

Any hints as to where I can place an online ad in the Toronto Canada area?

I have also sold bows/crossbows on Ebay (Canada). They don't have any problem with bows. You do lose a few points (their cut of the sale) and shipping a bow in Canada is likewise no issue.

Kijiji looks for certain words like: rifle, crossbow, gun, etc. If you search Kijiji for Excalibur under sporting goods you'll find lots of adds for bows that have been up for quite a while. Just watch what words they've used (and avoided) and repost.

I'm sure you know it but if selling on ebay (at least in the US) expect lots of people contacting you and trying to weasel you down in price or even trade stuff for it.

Craigslist.com I sold my Exomax there for $650.00.
It may be a tough time of year to sell it however.

On kijiji use the words archery and Excalibur. Omit hunting and crossbow.

I've had ads stay up for a while but I think that there are people/antis who troll through and report any ads related to hunting. Even ads for knives get pulled sometimes - it seems a bit random though.
