Tactzone scope & Matrix Bulldog

Post by Troubleshooter »

I was planning to trade my Tactzone with the Twilight DLX, because i have some problems with the Tactzone and after been reading on the internet i found out i was not the only one.

Now i see the Tactzone on the new Bulldog crossbow. So, now i wonder: was the Twilight not(!) a better scope than the Tactzone?

Why put a less perfect scope on a brand new model - which must stand for reliabilaty?

I have two Tactzones ... they work great....
perfect for hunting and shooting out to 70 yds...
maybe if Zeiss came out with a 30mm illuminated crossbow scope with a 42 mm objective...
but for now love my Tactzones

Sorry to say the Tactzone on my m 380 was like looking through a coke bottle opted for a Leupold crossbones and didn't look back! 7 deer with it in 2 seasons! To bad they don't give us the option on scopes! :?

I think the Tac-zones were improved upon after the initial run.
Back when they first came out almost none of us liked em but i dont hear much about em these days.

I would love for that to be true...I guess I owe it to myself to try a crossbones and see...then again, that's what the vortex XBR owners are saying about their
old crossbones....
give me a 30mm illuminated crossbones or 30 mm illuminated Zeiss Xb75 and I bet I would sell my tact-zones in a heartbeat....surely there has to be some surprises at the ATA

The twilight is rated for top speed of 400 fps and the tactzone is 410 fps I wonder if that comes into play with the Bulldog shooting 400 fps.
Most shooters are not going to be actually getting 400 fps as they most often are not going to use the lightest bolt recommended and a performance string but you would want some wiggle room on the speed dial.
