Cancer Shoot - registration open

Post by VixChix »

Canadian Archers for a Cause - Fundraiser shoot Feb 5 & 6, 2016. Held at Shooters Choice/Bow Shop in Waterloo. Come on out and have some fun! Last year we had quite a number of crossbows shooting on Friday night.

Register early as it fills up quickly! (They do keep a waiting list as well.)

Follow link for registration:

CAFAC 2016 Registration:
Welcome to the 2016 Canadian Archers for a Cause Registration. Last year we raised over $13,000 dollars to donate locally to Grand River Hospital, Waterloo Wellington Breast Center. Our contribution will be used towards the purchase additional equipment. Let's make this another amazing year and show the world that we truly are "Archers Who Care".
The round we will be shooting is a Lancaster round (same as in the past). 20 ends of 3 arrows for a total of 60 shots on a 40cm coloured face. The "x's" will be counted as 11 for a possible total of 660.
Registration is $20.00 minimum donation per shooter. We encourage shooters to obtain pledges as an additional donation for fundraising efforts.

Another bump up!

I just freed up a spot on the 7 pm line for Friday night - the coolest folks with xbows all shoot Friday! 8)

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year as I'm working two jobs right now and haven't been able to get anyone to cover my shift. :?

I"ll probably stop by and hang out for a bit Friday evening but I'm not shooting this year. Have had a very busy couple of weeks and I just don't have the gumption to shoot. Looking forward to seeing the usual folks though and catching up on things. :D

Pretty sad showing last night for us crossbows. Only two of us shooting last night. Was a fun time and shoot my best score in six years. Had a nice young gentleman scoring for me so I did not have to fill my pea brain with all that math.   CHEERS!
