I was waiting for the release of the 2016 models but decided to purchase a Micro 335. I find my Matrix 355 will break ribs on deer so I didn't see the need for a higher velocity bow. Plus I wanted the compact size over the larger bows because of the conditions I hunt in here. I put shot placement first over velocity. I only hunt deer and bear.

I do, based on the recommendation of an Xbow mentor/friend.
That's why I joined this forum, to gain more Xbow & Excalibur, in particular, knowledge.
It will be my first Xbow ever and I am looking forward to getting one.
Just need to sort out all of the accessories and spend more of my kids inheritance!

Heyu, very well put and my sentiments exactly...Mr Want has given me a house full of stuff, 80% of which I don't even remember "why" I just had to have it!

.....I think come the late spring I will be in the market for the 400 or the 355 but only if I sell two of something...trying to decide which will be the toughest part....I am starting to lean toward one 335 (unused) and the 380 which I love but might reconsider....and who knows maybe just stay with what I have...Mr Want will not win out this time because Mr. Debt can easily move in for a long time and nobody really likes him around!
