I think they'll shoot fantastic. The only thing is they may be sticking out past your stirrup. This is fine for 3D and target shooting but a real pain in the neck for hunting.

I just had 9 Lazer III's cut to 16 1/2" and their brass inserts re-glued in, as I like to keep the overall length within the stirrup, especially with broads involved.

I had it done at a local bow shop for $ .50 each and the weight still comes in at 280 grains with 110 gn brass insert.... 380gn w/100 grn BH, 405grn w/125 gn BH, and 430gn w/150 gn BH ......I'll be using 125 gn G5 montecs for 405 grns. and can shoot them in either my Micro or Matrix...for me it's a "win win" and either arrow will be dislodged by my foot in the act of decocking as an added safety factor.
