First day shooting, and now it's happened to me

Post by Roadrunnr72 »

First day shooting my new M380, and I'm sorry to say, it happened to me.

What happened? I fell in love, again. So, No, I'm not sorry!! :D  The first time was my Phoenix, and now my 380. (Please don't tell my wife  ) First shot went off by surprise. A few after, I could feel a little pull. Need to play around with the trigger. Not sure if these are the same as my Phoenix, but after cocking the string, and flipping the safety, put a light pull on the trigger to remove the play. Sighted in at 20yrds, then moved to 40. I need to get batteries for my range finder to verify the distance, but turned the scope to 380, and was still shooting high. I still have the air brakes and brake pads to install. That should be done this weekend. Looking forward to getting this ready for turkey season.

I would suggest you seek help now!
That is the beginning of the sickness many of us on here endure. It's called "Excalitosis" and there is as of yet "NO" cure. Be careful, the Love is very powerful. And expensive!!
But I hope you have great Fun with the New Toy! It is one of the Best!

Congratulations on your 380. IMO it is a "WOW FACTOR" bow and with the proper arrow setup, capable of incredible Accuracy at all hunting and target range.
Good Luck with the Turkey Hunting.

Happy Trails
