What would you do.

Post by howardgene63 »

I have a matrix grizzly, that I have owned less than a month. The right front scope base screw has been coming loose and I have been tightening it. The threads stripped out of the trigger assembly this morning. Excalibur says I will need to send it in for them to determine if it was a defective part. Would you guys send it in? Or just run a 10-32 tap in there and roll on. I don't want to have to pay for a factory trigger assembly and shipping when a trigger tech is $149.00.

I'd send it in but I also saw someone had a trigger from a 405 forsale for $35. I think crossbow talk?

Howard;
If that happened to my trigger and Excalibur said to send it in for
inspection/repair than i would send it in. You can always purchase a T.T. later if needed.

If it were mine i would tap it a size bigger. I did that on my 355 and never had the screws come loose again.
