Brace height
What brace height gives you the most speed? Closer to the string stops or farther from them? Within the recommended specs of course.

Closer would give you a bit more speed but will wear your bumpers much faster. and it's harder on the limbs.

If closer to the string stops is harder on your limbs does that mean the DR Stirrup bumpers may be a bad idea because in his video he says they are designed to be right up to the string?

It depends on the length of the bumpers. If the manufacturer recomends it to be on the string, then Bob's your uncle. The Excal bumpers look a little shorter.

the DR.Stirrup bumpers are 3/16 longer than the Excal. so the string must touch the bumpers to work. they have a air bag effect and Gaston will replace them if you damage them after 2 yrs. of purchase. they ware like iron
