back to excal

Post by crowe »

I don't to often post but I have to tell this. Up until a year ago I always had Excalibur crossbows, then I got the crazy urge to change, no reason, just wanted to try something different. I shopped around and ended up buying a Ten Point shadow ultra lite. I really liked the bow when I first bought it, well made and nice to shoot. As time went on I shot it a fair bit and even killed a couple whitetails with it..... However I never felt the confidence in it I always had with my Excalibur. Long story short I really regretted getting rid of my old exomax. Well, this week I went back to my dealer, ten point in hand. I left with a new Micro 315 and the ten point stayed behind. I've got to say this is about the sweetest crossbow I've ever owned. Glad I made the switch.

I love simple stuff. But honestly besides being a little wider and a little harder to cock than a wheelie there is really nothing to sacrifice with an excalibur bow the dependability outweighs all.

There are only two companies I trust for dependable cross bows one is Excalibur and the other is a USA companies recurve crossbows.Recurves just look so much better and not much can go wrong with them. Just keep brace height correct and watch the proper string loop openings .

There really is nothing more simpler and as easy to maintain than an Excalibur. We all may stray once in a while but a recurve crossbow is just way to dependable to not own one, 2, 3, ......
