Re: Ramcat flight problem
Nchunterkw l think hit the nail n the head. I put arrow on rail backwards under string and the fletching is touching that plastic spacer so every time its loaded a slight turn will make it hit even more. Goin to do some trimming. Hopefully its the problem. Thanks l will shoot in a bit andreport back.
Re: Ramcat flight problem
If you see much of that black shim sticking out, it is definately your problem. It was a very common problem with the older bows. This is one of the inherent problems that was eliminated in the Matrix and Micro bows by designing a limb pocket in the riser.

Theres about an 1\8in sticking out
Re: Ramcat flight problem
You have an allowance of about 1mm. Just keep in mind that, in flight, the cock vane centers itself in the channel keeping the non-cock vanes flat. If you turn the arrow while the fletching are in the broadhead pocket, Blazers will come in hard contact with the riser. So don't fool yourself by turning the arrow when you have it reversed like you do. The arrow will turn a bit as the fletchings are clear of the rail and may hit the right side black limb shim.
Blazers are the tallest of vanes used in crossbows.
