Congratulations. Nice job. And in my experience, whenever I pass up an opportunity because it comes "too soon" after the opener, I usually end up eating my tag. Haha. So don't feel bad about getting one early. You can always hunt with a camera.

Looks like there will be many wonderful meals at your place this winter. I'm happy to see your conformation of a Micro 335 as a viable choice for really large animals. :wink:

The best is this was my first archery moose ever. I Was able to get a buck close at least 7-8 time in the last 4 archery seasons, but not close enough to take a shot.

The other mooses I killed were all in rifle season. But more and more I mainly hunt using a crossbow.

2016 was a perfect year for me. Tagged out turkey hunting (1 of them was a big tom and the other a jake, full decap on both) and this moose all using my micro 335. Very pleased.
