bowhunting ranges

I thought it would be fun to have in informal survey. I have kept track of all deer that either I've shot or that other members of my group have shot when I was with them since 2001 when I started crossbowing. Here are the ranges of the kills:

1 Deer at 50 yds. 1 deer at 12 yds.

As best as I can recall for recent years it's been, 17-18-15-18-23-8-14-9 / 15.25AVG
A couple might have been a yard one way or the other, but I use plenty of markers around my stands, so the estimates are close.

Interesting statistics Mike.

Mine are: 27, 2, 12, 25, 6, 20, 9, 18, average = 14.9 yards

AVERAGING - 20.3 yards. All because of one 42 yard kill..

Other than that it would be 14 yards..
