Equinox brace height

I bought a used Equinox crossbow but i didn't get an owners manual how do I adjust the brace height? my string is just below the the first line which would be farthest from the limbs. What is the process to get the string in between the two lines? Also I do not know what type of string the previous owner put on all he said was he replaced it.

1.125" from the split if you don't have bumpers if my memory serves me right. That would be the minimum.

I have had my Equinox since 2010, and they told me anywhere between the two lines on the rail, But since I have S5,s I keep the string about a credit card distance off the S5,s
To lower brace, twist string clock wise,
To raise brace, twist string counter clock wise,

Do I twist just one end of the string,reattach the string and to twist the other end?

You only need to twist one end of the string.
