We got some deer...

Post by XB I GO »

I have been trying to deer hunt with a vertical bow for 3 years but I couldn't pull enough weight. Finally this year I Can pull 36 pounds and I've been accurate with 100 gr Sonics. My Brother never shot a deer and he doesn't practice archery so I gave him my Excalibur to use. We went to my Dads friends ranch early in the morning. My brother went with Dad and he shot a doe at 20 yards. He said the deer didn't even know it was hit and just stood there for a minute and fell over. I was on the other side of ranch with Gary, Dads friend. A doe walked in and stopped at 20 yards. My arrow went right through the lungs. The deer walked a little bit and then went down. 2 deer and my Brothers first!
