Tact Zone Scope Parralax?

Post by Carey »

Having difficulty with consistent accuracy due to parralax with my Tact Zone Scope. I am trying to find out what is normal horizontal and vertical variation(maximum) due to eye/head location at 20, 30, 40 yards. I believe my Matrix 355 will shot same hole accuracy at these distances, but my eye (off center) behind the Tact Zone results in a 2 to 3 inches off POI in all directions even at 20 and 30 yards. That's 4 to 6 inches variation. Seems a lot.
All testing is from bench and sand bags. PS, all connections are tight!

Does anyone know the factory parralax setting distance for the Tact Zone?

I would like to know others experience regarding maximum parralax POI due to eye centering behind the scope. What is the maximum variation you experience due the parralax when tested from a bench? With the Tact Zone or any other scope?

Thanks
Carey

Have you adjusted the rear eyepiece to your eye? If not do so. It is crucial to getting the Tact Zone sighted in correctly.
