The trigger in the 405 is chrome plated. Not sure if they did it in all the triggers they only advertise the 405 having this.
thanks Pin... are the internals plated ,the latch ?..or the lever?
I think its jut the internals, sear etc. I'm not sure how the platting will hold up but the standard triggers are usually rough. I think they would be better off smoothing them up more instead of platting but time will tell. I will have mine this weekend. Everyone says the trigger is better. Its not like we are going to be shooting a 290 bow all the time anyway :) I'm getting a 330 for my every day shooter :)

I agree about the smoothing up part for sure..
Thanks.
that 330, I bet, is gonna be a real winner. don't get me wrong I love my 380 and I think the 405 is going to fly off the shelves (speed sells)
but like you say ,for an everyday shooter that 330 is going to be hard to beat

I don't have my tracking number memorized but I know both left Wyverns today at the same time :) Two new bows to setup...can't wait! Should have them by Thursday, maybe Wednesday :)

Having been a member of the "Wheels, Cables, and Exploding Limbs Club" I am forcing myself to wait. Hopefully buying an Excalibur will be a decision I won't regret.

i use a short and a long rope cocker, plus i just bought a c 2 crank for it. which is very inconvenient and one more thing to carry in the woods. i will keep working on it and hope to be able to cock it with one rope cocker
