Want to reduce my 18" diablos to 16.5" so I can install some inserts and use my 100 grain broadheads. I am concerned with arrow damage if I heat or impact insert for removal. I am shooting a 350 SE with FPS of 340 with 400 grain arrow. Can anyone tell me how this may affect accuracy. I have a dozen diablos and a lot of 100 grain broadheads from the past.
Thanks and God Bless

Put a field tip in a vise and heat it to cherry red, then screw your arrow on it and it will melt the glue without damaging the shaft.

Cut with an arrow saw first ...then heat the end then you dont gotta worry about it
