Not sure if it will work for glasses or not but Itech sells a anti fog for their clear hockey helmet face mask. It works great on the helmet. I have also rubbed shampoo on my mask and then used a dry cloth to wipe it off...that also worked for my helmet!? Not sure if it will work for glasses or not?

I found this product in a local drug store and seems to keep my glasses clear and fog free all day. Price was reasonable, under $5 for a 4 oz. spray bottle.

If none of the products work, I recommend the lens cleaner that scuba divers use on theis lenses. It's about $20 but it will last ya forever. It's a huge pre-moistened towel in a small jar ( a little bigger than a noxema jar). -JR
Stock Exomax and now a Micro 335. :)

Anti Fog

Post by patmax »

If you want something cheap, try liquid soap. You might try carrying a paper towel with diluted liquid soap in it as a wipe. The oil from my skin causes my eye glasses to fog. I bought a cleaner and found that it stopped fogging. Then I was told the cleaner was not much more than soap. Hence, now I use soap.

Good luck.

Hey Patmax,

Your glasses fog up in Texas? How cold does it get in Texas? We're way below freezing up here, I wonder if the soap thing would work?

Just to confirm, could I use dish soap with water to wipe my lenses then don't rinse and let them air dry?

Thanks,
I'll test it out tonight before I try it on the weekend.

I use a product on my diving mask called Seal something....I cant remember the name right now. Its only a few bucks at dive shops and it works. I use it on the inside of the car windows too.
