I should add though, that other people's advice to get a blemished set for $80 to keep as a backup is really good advice. Not that it'll happen again. But if something were to happen on a hunt you could be back in the tree that same afternoon.

Not really. And it will probably never happen again.

shoot it! I am going to start my 4th year with the 380 Madmax, Danny Miller told me the fall of 2014 he would replace them anytime I wanted to send them in,,,,

I'm still shooting them 1000nds of shots later this is my #1 hunting bow, and the bow I judge all others by. I know new limbs wont make it shoot any better,, it could make it faster,, but since it will shoot 382 fps with a 354 grain arrow, it could also shoot slower depending on deflection!

like I said, it is going to use them again this year, you have to decide but I would shoot it.

I had a similar splinter as Wildcatter on my M380. I broke it off and sanded it smooth....then shot hundreds more arrows before I began noticing my tiller was out. I replaced the limbs with the blemished set I purchased and sent the others in for my warranty replacement at that time. My M380 is still my personal hallmark bow...excluding my Frankenbow.
