Reds

Post by Robinsons Rebel »

Just bought the R.E.D.S for my Grizzly. The string is 1/4 inch away from the bumper. The instructions says to twist or untwist the string until its a credit card distance away. Do I do this and not worry about the brace height? Right now I have my string just barley in front of the line on the riser.

I believe a 1/4 " away is good, I have it like that on my micro. Unless the grizz is different?
On the older style bows a credit card width was the norm but on the newer bows I think it's 3/16 min.

Someone with the know will chime in soon.

3/16" to 1/4" is preferred.
It is also a good idea to keep your cocking aid hooked up and short enough to keep the string off the bumpers during storage to keep the bumpers from being damaged as the string stretches.
