Anyone out this morning?

Post by GrassyKnoll »

65 humid degrees this morning when I got into my blind. Nothing like sweat running down your back in the early AM. Haven't seen anything so far either. The deer are probably at the local motel in the air conditioning. Lol

72 deg. Overnight low. Eased into stand to try to be dry when I got here. Pretty morning even if it is warmer than I would hope for. Just feeling blessed to be here .😊

This is the weekend for our youth hunt and every hunter must wear blaze orange which I hate. My buddy and I were out Thursday and he saw 9 doe all coming out of the corn field.
I sat on ground in a funnel but saw 0. Good luck buddy!

Good luck guys. Hitting the woods tomorrow morning, weather looks decent, not as cool as I would like it to be, but glad to be able to get out.

70 this morning with 80% humidity and temps will reach mid 80s this afternoon but I will sit this evening because I am going to be affected by another tropical system tomorrow and maybe deer will feed to beat the storm.

Good luck everyone.

We were out. It was just below 60 here but humid. We saw nothing. It'll be in the 80's this afternoon so we're done for the day. Weather may keep us out of the woods until late in the week.
