2018 ATA Show

Post by ThunderXB »

SO, with the ATA show this weekend, any new product leaks?

Any guesses??

I'd like to see a better all-around crossbow scope.

I have 3 different models that I really like (Vortex XBR, Hawke SR Pro, Zeiss XB75), but none of them offers all the features of the others.

Be nice to see one that did.

The XB30 Pro lists for more ($319) than the 2 new 30mm scopes and has 16 coatings on the glass. Think the new versions will have as good of optics? I’ve wanted a Hawke to have even better optics, not the same or lesser.

There’s too much in that scope for these ole tired eyes! I definitely don’t need no 60-100 yd markings either!

My wish is to see a new crossbow scope offering by Leupold. With Leupold having over 700 employees under one roof and over 100 of them are Engineers means there is a certainly a lot of brainpower under one roof the way I see it.

New for 2018, Leupold is using new advanced coatings for better twilight performance on their higher end scopes, which usually means a trickle down effect where last years best glass coating move to their lesser costing scopes, usually and no additional cost.

Twice in the last 14 months I've written the Leupold Engineers expressing interest in a better crossbow scope. I was informed they are looking at that market keenly. I hope this is the year.
