.....The Assassin

Post by amythntr »

.....Cousin Vinny has bee haunting me about a crossbow that has taken his “nickname”.....he wants to know if it is really deserving of that name....I told him I would ask the people in the know....

......Isnthis new offering something that one should consider....not that I would be spending any more money on crossbows....

......also if one were to buy 4 would that be considered the “Italian Mob?”

Heck ya.

As soon as the blackout version comes out I'm in trouble..

Great trigger
Great crank
Perfect balance
Adjustable stock

;)

The Assassin is creeping in to the need category.

I was in General gun in Windsor on the weekend. I picked it up again and it shoulders like it should!! ;)

I really like the new trigger! It shoulders nice and shoots awesome! The only thing that I don’t like or want is the moving latch & crank! Other than that, it’s a very nice shouldering & shooting crossbow!

You should see the bow in person. Hold it use the crank shoot it.
Its nice better than the raven. Its a take down bow that fits
In its own case. Bows quiet and smooth shooting. I would own it but im tied up with the bd 400.

With the Ravin, if the cocking tape breaks, your a sun boogered onion! At least on the Excalibur, you can rope cock it! Plus, if you use the wrong nock, you don't lose a thumb and finger :wtf:

Yep, you CAN cock the Assassin with a rope cocker in a pinch but I wouldn’t want to make a habit of it. Heck, I couldn’t make a habit of it. After a couple of pulls, I’d be done. But you just gotta crank it, shoulder it, shoot it. It’s one fine crossbow. :eusa-clap:

Was giving the Assassin Specs a good look over and I noticed or could say did not notice that there appears to be

" No"
" Guardian Anti-Dry-Fire System Type Mechanism "

Is this the case and if so is there an option or is it even possible to install one??? :?:
