My gen 1 Micro 335 has basically become an upgrade platform I guess. I am the third owner of the bow having bought it online several months ago. I had just acquired an Assassin but wanted a more basic Excalibur as a backup and to play around with.
So - I had the bow like I wanted it but the trigger was still heavy and rough so I decided to go for the Triggertech. Installing it would have been fairly straightforward even though the instructions recommended the wrong size wrenches in a couple of places.

No biggie - I’m fairly well mechanically inclined. But — apparently, one of the bows past owners neglected its care or did some strange reassembly. When I was taking the scope off, the two forward screws came right out. But the back screws wouldn’t budge.

And, of course, I eventually rounded the tiny Allen key receptacle out.

At that point I went into full mechanic “I gotta get this screw out” mode. I was successful but only after way more effort than I expected. Once extracted, the screws had visible rust and what I took to be some type of thread locker (red locktite maybe) on them.

I also found that the screw that prevents the anti-dry fire from pulling out had been replaced with something obviously not intended to be there.
Oh well - sometimes you don’t know what you’ll get with a used bow. The bottom line is I got the Triggertech installed and am pleased with it;

a definite improvement. But it turned out to be a lot more effort due to those two back screws on the scope mount.
