Finally ordered a stringer

Post by ChrisK »

Just ordered my stringing aid for my crossbow. I have been planning on doing this from the time I first purchased my crossbow. I don’t know what took me so long to be honest with you.

Good to here, now if you had bought a bow that had the string resting on or in the bumpers you would need it before you ever shot it

Yeah. My string is about 1/2” from the bumpers still. I have shot it several times and really thought the string would of stretched more by now.

It's a must have!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

A must have for sure , now a spare string is high on the list along with a serving tool , a serving jig, and serving material.
These items make you able to do your own bow maintenance and take full advantage of the recurve bow advantages.
You will not have your bow sitting in a bow shop waiting for the bow tech to find time to get to your bow because your compound bow string stretched and the timing is now off and the serving came loose and the latches are cutting the actual string and the rut is on :( , and they can charge you an arm and a leg. :eusa-violin:
