First 4 Broadhead Shots Micro 355
Well I set up the Boltcutter B.A.T broadheads. Nothing too serious, just lined them up by eye. The wind got bad but at 20 yards I'm happy and I'll be waiting for a better wind to practice and check accuracy out a little further. I live 2 miles from the Bay water and I'm 300 feet above sea level can be a little windy. Of course I'll need much more shooting to make sure I'm grouping consistently.

Any one of those shots are what we call in the south “meat in the freezer”
I have my 355 dialed in out to 50 yds, can’t wait for the season to come in.
I bought this bow in February and it’s already a discontinued model

Try bolt 4 with different vanes in the rail to see if it will group. To me that's a big difference at 20yds

Thanks! I bought my Micro 355 early this spring. Even if we bought the new AXE today it will be discontinued at some point.georgiaboy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 6:10 pmAny one of those shots are what we call in the south “meat in the freezer”

That was shot number 4 with bolt number 1. Both shot 1 and 4 were to the right with the same bolt.

Yes sir, I marked all the bolts and all the Broadheads just for that reason. I'll also try and swap broadheads with one of the others. I might have to go to the the range I belong to. One of the ranges there is a combined 25 and 50yds with berms on 3 sides. The berms remove wind interference. That will remove any excuses as well.nchunterkw wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 6:53 pmTry bolt 4 with different vanes in the rail to see if it will group. To me that's a big difference at 20yds

That is correct. I will be taking nchunterkw's advice and rotate the vane. I will also try to swap broadheads. When I'm done on the PC I'll take a look at the configuration of the broadhead in comparison to the vanes and the other 2 bolts. Let the fun begin.

What kind of rest were you using, table, sticks, etc?

How much fun was it to pull the arrows out?

Re: First 4 Broadhead Shots Micro 355
I had a good rest. One of those portable, fold able work/saw hoarse benches and a leather rabbit ear bag up front. I was sitting on a wooden bench. I just adjusted the broadhead in question in comparison to the others it was not lined up the same. When I first tightened the broadhead in I turned the internal B.A.T. too far. That made a noticeable difference in the configuration compared to the other 2 bolts.
I will be using my Bi-pod shooting sticks inside my blind while hunting. Tonight I was practicing free hand standing shots between 10 and 30 yards with field points. Although I'm grandfathered in for the Archery license. I've decided to take the bow hunter course. I'm sure I'll pick up some great information. I was told to bring my crossbow and bolts, there will be some shooting. I have no problem putting all the bolts in a 5 inch circle at 30 yards.

Re: First 4 Broadhead Shots Micro 355
Ive had a better times lol. I bought that Lumenok puller/extinguisher didn't work for Sh!t! lol. Likely needing the Danny puller. I tell you those Lumenoks for me are almost impossible to turn off. I don't have the strength in my hands. The only way I was able to turn them off was to put on leather gloves and push/wiggle them back from side to side. I went back in the garage twice a found one of them turned on again geesh
Re: First 4 Broadhead Shots Micro 355
The Extinguisher turns the nock off really easily. You use your thumb to turn them off by hand. You dont need lots of strength. You'll find that the further out you go, the easier it is to pull. Still, Danny Miller's puller makes everything easy!Stepnoutnb wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 9:41 pmIve had a better times lol. I bought that Lumenok puller/extinguisher didn't work for Sh!t! lol.
