How’s everyone that has one of these new bows liking them? I’m seriously thinking about getting this Crossbow, but wanted to see if anyone is having any limb issues.

Re: Bulldog 440
I haven't heard of any limb issues. Talking to Danny Miller, he tells me he hasn't seen any issues with the new generation of limbs that the 440 uses. I have a 440 but haven't had a chance to shoot it much at all.

I have a matrix 380 and have had four trouble free seasons with it. There’s just something about the 440 that’s peaked my interest.

I played with it at a couple shows now. It's a pretty impressive machine. Hits like a ton of brick literally

Re: Bulldog 440
I have never had a chance to shoot one. But compared to mu bulldog 400 it’s seems much heavier. I’m sticking with my bulldog 400 for now. But if it’s incredibly fast speed that’s the xbow for you
Re: Bulldog 440
I got 448.0 ft/sec with a 353 gr arrow and the stock string, 426.6 ft/sec with a 400.5 gr arrow and stock string. That's what I call smoke!

Re: Bulldog 440
I have been shooting my Bulldog 440 for about four weeks now and could not be happier with it. I choreographed 440 fps spot on with a 350 bolt and factory string. The new ACP trigger is very good and breaks clean like a glass rod. So for I have shot it out to 60 yards with real tight groups.
After about 100 shots through the bow the limbs look perfect with no visible imperfections, stress marks or micro cracks. They look to be in perfect condition.

Does it seem like it’s going to be hard on the servings on the string?CT.HNTR wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 5:56 pmI have been shooting my Bulldog 440 for about four weeks now and could not be happier with it. Re: Bulldog 440
Give us some reviews when you get it. I’m torn between the 440 and the 360 pro but I’m heading up to Cabela’s in a week or so once I shoot them both I’ll make my decision then. But keep all the reviews coming in.

Re: Bulldog 440
Be careful shooting lumiknocks with the 440. Had two of them get pushed inside the arrow and one completely came apart in mid flight
Re: Bulldog 440
I suggest to anyone wanting to use illuminated nocks out of the 440 not use Lumenoks since the designed functional gap between the Lumenok and end shaft will cause eventual failure, maybe not the first shot but eventual if using carbon shafts.
The inherent high force created out of the 440 will drive the Lumenok with such high force , that your arrow shaft will develop elongated and crush type stress cracks. If not noticed after inspection your next shot will be a disaster. Prepare for a cut string and potential dryfire damage.
Flat LED Firenocks should be considered as your best option out of the 440.
Firenock's proprietory design will eliminate nock jump to function effectively.
