WE NEED THE SEASONS TO BE OPEN...

Post by janesy »

So we can all be friends again.

All this limb breaking talk and digging up dead limb problems theories and anocdotal stories from the past every single September one week before the seasons is rediculous.

Two things!

1) don't sweat the small crap

2) shoot you bow before the one week count down.

We all need to tree time!

Totally agree 100%! That’s why I shoot my bows whenever the opportunity presents itself! 😉

This is why everyone should own at least two bows. It's what I tell myself, anyway, as I plot out how I'm going to finance a third…

X2 on the not waiting to the week before opening to check things out ,but from what I have seen lately we have a splinter that a sanding job will fix , What looks like a finish dip chip to me from what i can see in the picture on the limb tip that will be taken care of ,and a mystery poster who may or may not have a big issue.
like you say do not sweet the small stuff , the big stuff is right behind.

I wish so badly we had Elk here, or a season and enough population I should say.
Thanks for the read
We do have Elk here in Ontario, and it's a treat to watch and take their picture.

I'm 100% ready.
Did my Farmer visit.
Stand checked and trimmed.
Lots of deer sign.

One thing I didn't expect was walking through poison oak. I'm still healing from that! Lol

That's what the doc says. I think it was poison ivy but I'm no expert! Lol

I'm pretty sure it's a western species of urushiol producing plant (poison ivy, oak and sumac). Urushiol is what causes the rash so I'm not sure what your Dr based his diagnosis on.
Poison oak has 3 leaves but with rounded lobed leaves.
