Servings
Just wondering how much people pay for putting a new serving on a string? A couple days ago I left 3 to be re-served and was quoted $7.00 each. Well, I need the strings and it is cheaper than buying new ones. Perhaps it is time for me to learn how to do servings?

That sounds reasonable to me if they are using good serving material. I only get Angel Majesty on my strings and it is expensive.B-Logger wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 12:09 pmJust wondering how much people pay for putting a new serving on a string? I think if you are in this for the long haul it is a great idea to get set up to do your own servings just to be self sufficient.
I learned to do it watching Boos you tube videos its well explained and very easy process.
First you need a string jig Boo has plans for that made of steel I fashioned mine out of wood I all ready had around and it works perfect I could send you a phone picture if you wanted or use boos plans.
Then you need a serving tool and serving material and you are set for life and not dependent on a pro shop to keep your bow in shooting order.
The price you were charged is reasonable hopefully the serving material they use is x bow appropriate.

Thanks fellas. I'll probably not do anything until after deer season. One has to set his priorities!
