Magnus Bullhead Broadheads
Any of you all shoot these for turkey? I have a few questions. How do you check zero? Looks to me like shooting these into a Block would be tough on Block, arrow, and broadhead. How do you carry them? I see there is an adapter for a quiver, but does it work? How much longer do the arrows need to be? Just long enough to clear stirrup? Thanks in advance

Ah yes magnus bullheads!
Excellent turkey head with a lifetime warranty!
I have used them extensively.
Sight in with an old pillow that is allowed swing when you shoot in to it.
I carry them in my quiver with the quiver adapter.
Use arrows long enough to clear the quiver.
Keep your shots 20 yards max.
There is nothing more satisfying than connecting with a turkey neck using the magnus head!

I them all the time and they work . Shot lots of turkeys with them. The 100’s work best with the faster bows . I use my 310 Matrix and shoot the125 that is a inch wider . Use a pillow and let it swing and you will do fine . Set your decoys Close most of my shots are 10yds. Or less. Good luck. W.M.

Make sure you include and old empty milk bag and broccoli elastic in your vest.
I haven't use a bow to decap a bird, but one of my 12G chokes does it the same. The only problem is that when you toss the bird over your shoulder the darn things bleed out all down your back and legs.
So the plastic bag and elastic will save your clothes and more importantly you truck seat! Now I have Carhartt covers lol.

I'm waiting for the folks down south to say... "What's a milk bag?" HahahaCarnivorous wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 11:31 amWhy didn't I think of this!!!!janesy wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 9:04 amMake sure you include and old empty milk bag and broccoli elastic in your vest.

Re: Magnus Bullhead Broadheads
I do pretty much what these other guys have already said. Only thing to add is that I re-wrap my practice pillow with packing tape after each shot to close up the wound, otherwise the pillow falls apart really quick.
My POI with the 100gr is always a little different from my regular broadheads, but I just remember where my hold needs to be with the bullhead, because I keep regular broadhead setup with me in case the gobbler doesn't come within bullhead range.
