I've been using it for a little over a year now. It's the best!

How accurate have you found it to be? I understand terrain, thermals, etc. do play a large part in the direction.

Very accurate. But I live in a very flat part of my state. Imagine 280 acres of hunting land with only 7 ft of elevation change from lowest to highest spots. That's one area I hunt.

Another place I hunt probably has a max of 50 ft over 3200 acres.

Not very accurate at all in the ridges where I hunt. My last 2 hunts both showed a West wind all day but the winds were actually dead out of the South.
They did turn to the West in mid afternoon for a while. I have been using it a long time but have learned not to trust it.

I'll just use it to get a general idea of wind direction then verify it once I get there. Terrian sure makes a difference. I noticed that in my spot in NE Oklahoma. The wind was never as forecasted there. My current spot is surrounded by sloughs, creeks, a big bay and the Tennesse River. Going to be interesting what I learn out there.
