I had no idea that morel mushrooms grew on my hunting property. Anyone else eat wild mushrooms? They certainly don't smell appealing but then raw mushrooms never did to me. I think I'm going to see if I can propagate them here at home.

I'm not a wild mushroom guy, but the antlers are a cool find. That said, I have had a few wild mushrooms in my days.

I've been hunting them for years, though I don't always find them. Those look like they may be a little past their prime, but that could just be the photo. I sliced the few I found this year and sauteed them and put them into omelets. they were delicious. I'd post a picture of fresh ones if I could ever figure out how to do it.

I didn't find many morels this spring,
but later in the year i do find a lot of ,PUFFBALS AND CORAL,
and they are just as delicious.
