Into 2023 We Somewhat Gracefully March...

Post by AJ01 »

Well, as we all know, 2022 is steadily coming to a halt. 2023 is waiting in the wings to pounce!!
There has been laughter, and at times... tears. Both of sadness and of joy.

But we have survived another year. With all its bumps and bruises it's been a comedy of errors!!
We have made new friends and lost some old ones. And yet, we all know the old cliche, "Time stand still for No Man"!
No truer this than now at the end of another year.

As we settle in for New Year's Eve festivities, I hope Peace and Joy find you all.
I pray that your adventurous New Year brings you Hope, Love and Laughter.
I wish for your life to be full of precious moments and fond memories.

Be SAFE my friends this upcoming year. Live life to its fullest.
Happy New Year ALL!!

AJ

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming "Wow, What a Ride!

Wishing all a fulfilling new year !
I started new years eve with a new fantastic recipe I highly recommend Venison / Beef Bourguignon.
Made this with venison stew meet and the flavor profile is wonderful.

Happy new year. Hope it's a good one!

2022 wasn't all that bad for me. My wife, kids, grandkids (and myself) are all healthy. We welcomed a new grandson to the family (he's doing great) and, most importantly, three deer committed suicide in front of me. The war in Ukraine worries me (I hope it ends before it gets worse) and we lost some money in the stock market (but we're fine financially and it always bounces back). There are always some bad things, but I've had worse years.

I hope for an even better 2023 for everyone!

Good words AJ. 2022 was not a great year in this household, but still much to be grateful for. Looking forward to a good 2023.
