I’ve thoroughly enjoyed hunting with my Matrix series bows (330, 355, and 380), and am looking at transitioning to a Rev X.
I’ve got a “lifetime supply” of bolts made up of 16 3/8” Zombie Slayers, and from what I gather, this length should still work in the new bow. I know I’ll need to upgrade the nocks from the flats used in the original Excals to the “Rhino” type to work with the new trigger.
I’ve always used Terry’s “Munchmounts” since my E-Mag, and the one question/concern I have is if there are any other quiver mounting options besides the stock setup.
For those of you that have “made the jump” already, is there anything else I need to consider as I move to the newer bow? It looks like the weight of the new bow is about 1.5 lbs heavier that the “old” Matrix bows - is the difference very noticeable?
Thanks in Advance!!

Re: Matrix to Re X transition questions
Your 16" + arrows will transfer over just fine using the Rhino nocks.
430 to 455 gr is a nice speet spot.
I know Rex X shooters using even shorter arrows as a personal preference with excellent accuracy out of the Rev X.
You may contact Danny Miller of Horizontal Archery as he has a few different quiver mounting options for the Rex X. I have personally seen his said quiver mount options.

Re: Matrix to RevX transition questions
My RevX shoots just fine without Rhino nocks. But as Norm said, the Rhino nocks and Beacons will easily fit into your 0.300" ID arrow shafts. Danny will also have a better stringing aid.

1) your flat nocks will work perfectly fine, you don't need new nocks.
2) have someone video your first shot so you can see the smile on your face.
