Chops from this guy, grilled alongside Butternut Steaks:

Served up with mixed veggies and an excellent Merlot.

Yummy!

Re: Wild Game Cooking
A good Buddy dropped off a nice bag of Magnum Prawns yesterday.
So, skewered them up right away and dropped onto a hot BarBee.
Maple Bacon wrapped Scallops done in the oven at the same time.

Served up with a fresh Avocado ranch Salad, Avocado and of course a fine wine.

Comfort food on a dreary & rainy eve.
Cheers

Re: Wild Game Cooking
Put the new BarBee together yesterday. Bit of an effort there alright, but it's done and she looks good:

Could not make up my mind between Lamb or Moose Tenderloin for my Birthday. The Missuz said Do Both.
So Lamb the day before then as the first meal to break in the BarBee:

Served up with Pasta and a home made sauce, Spare Gooses and an excellent Merlot:

Great way to start!
Moose Tenderloins tonight...
Cheers

Re: Wild Game Cooking

Was my birthday on Sunday.
Saved a good sized chunk of Moose Tenderloin from this year's bull just for the occasion.
Although already cut with your fork tender, I marinated it for several hours prior to hitting the BarBee.
Dropped onto a preheated grill:

Made up some double baked Taters to accompany:

Served up with a Garlic Caesar Salad and an most excellent Shiraz:

Heck of a fine way to round out my day!
Cheers!

Looks good as always!
You have asparagus already, it will be a few more weeks before we start to see the wild variety around here.
