Phoenix so easy to shoot

Post by tcct2003 »

Been shooting my Phoenix for a week now and I must say it is so easy to shoot. I have shot compound bows and rifles before and this seems so easy. I have weak arms and I am no longer very still in freehand shooting. With the fiber optic sight I "drift" looking at the block and squeeze the trigger. Hits the bullseye effortlessly and consistently.

One other note

Before coming to this board I had never held a crossbow be it "longbow style" or "compound style". I purchased my Phoenix based on this forum. Yesterday I was at Dicks Sportinggoods and thought I would pick up a couple of compound crossbows. They felt very strange to hold and very heavy towards the end of the crossbow.

My point is I am so glad I picked an Excalibur!!!!

I own a 4 year old 175# exocet all I've ever done is change the string and regular cleaning. Still hits dead on. You will always be happy with your purchase.
