Missouri Buck Hits the ground- EXOMAX does the deed!

Post by Moniteaumule »

I want to thank you guys that got me on the right track from the get go. Thanks for setting me up with the ExoMAX from the start. Bill T. You make a GREAT Crossbow!

I know of one big 8 pointer that won't be checking anymore scrapes in Missouri. I was on the ground sneaking about 25 yards inside a fields edge looking for a spot to hunker down for the evening. I found some big rubs earlier and knew the field is a hangout for does at dark. I was totally expecting this buck to come from the woods to the field but I was wrong. This dude came from the field and stoped to check a scrape, I put a 5 yard slip up on him and drilled him broadside @ 22 yards.

He was looking at me tryint to figure where that 260 pound stump came from that wasn't there yesterday, so I aimed at the top of his heart just in case he jumped the string. When I shot, he didn't have time to do a thing. The arrow took out the top of the heart and both lungs, he ran about 40 yards and piled up.

This was my first hunt with the ExoMax. And my first Crossbow Kill.

Equipment Used:
ExoMAX
Vari-Zone Scope
Excalibur GoldTip Arrows
Wasp Boss 100 Gr 3 blade Head

New Guys, Pay attention, The Right Stuff is "THE RIGHT STUFF!" It works.

Thanks,

Should I get a scope?

Post by Tasslehoff »

Im getting a exomax today so I need a quick answer. Should I or should I not get a scope? Im a good aim without one, but do they make that much difference? Asking the 8 point killer. Good job :) . I hope I do the same.
