2005 finally!!!!

Post by Daniele »

HAVE BEEN OUT A FEW TIMES, NADA;
WENT BACK TO OLD HUNTING SPOT, LOOKS EVEN BETTER NOW, SET UP OVER A SWEET SCRAPE, FAWN AND MOM CAME THROUGH HEADING DIRECTLY FOR THE SCRAPE AREA AND MOM WAS SNIFFING AROUND A LOT, AT ONE POINT SHE WAS LOOKING RIGHT UP AT ME AND SNIFFING, HARD TO KEEP STILL THEN,FINALLY SHE TURNED JUST ENOUGH FOR A SHOT, NAILED HER AT ABOUT 18 YDS, PASS-THROUGH IN BOILER-ROOM, BOLT WAS BURIED A GOOD 8" IN THE GROUND, RED TIP TO TIP :lol: :lol: :lol: , SHE BOLTED OUT OF SIGHT, NO THRASHING OR ANYTHING; GOT DOWN TEN MINUTES LATER WITH NEW BOLT ON XBOW AT READY AND TRACKED BLOOD, FOUND HER ABOUT 80 YDS AWAY, DONE COLD!
FAWN DISAPPEARED BUT WAS A GOOD SIZE, ALMOST AS BIG AS MOM.
FILET MIGNON FOR LUNCH TOMMOROW AFTER I BUTCHER.
I WENT TWO SEASONS WITH ONLY SIGHTINGS AND CLOSE CALLS, TIME TO MAKE UP, SORRY NO PICS, HUNTING ALONE AND ALWAYS TIGHT FOR TIME.
THAT WAS AN AM HUNT IN STAND BY 7:00 AM, SHOT AT 8:40, HOME AND DONE WITH SKINNING ETC BY 1:00 PM, NOW I GOT HOME FROM 3:00 TO 11:00 SHIFT, WEEKEND LOOKING GOOD,
REGARDS TO ALL, DANIELE.
Good hunting, be safe.
