Hi5 wrote:Perhaps the references to bashing and trolling to some extent was directed at my posts. I was blunt in what I had to say, and I am unapologetic for that.

Certain new posters who offered no personal information in their profiles, either seemed anxious to promote a competitor's product, or denigrate the Excalibur product.

Our hosts would not likely dare to intervene on their own behalf. They are hopefully too busy, and in any event I think, too classy to take the risk of appearing petty, by responding.

My intentions were honourable, even if I went too far. I'm a bit surprised no one else seemed to share my thoughts.
You did well..

I thought it best to just keep my nouth shut and maybe they would just go away.

When I am in someone else's house I sure don't badmouth the person that owns that house.

They were here on a mission.

It backfired.

How do you guys find the time to be on a bunch of forums ? Man I can't even keep up with this one.

Wait till ya get married Tye.

Hi5, your remarks on that post about the high-flyin xbow, were not out of line. Were not all angels and should act like it. A little debate keeps things interesting.

But, yah !! this forum is alright, I definetely got more good, than bad out of it.

Keep it up.

I enjoy this forum too.I met Bill and his wife at their shop--quality business people and folks. I enjoy their bows. This forum seems very mellow and nobody seems to being flamed. There is also a very wide spread (geographically speaking) group of users which makes for more interest as we hear about xbow hunting in different areas. Let's hear about some hunts that an eastern Ont. boy would not normally get in on. :D :P :)
If you are still alive your mission here on Earth must not be completed.

Hi5 I second what WW said bud your right on. I enjoyed your read and lined up with it...I have to say ive done some typen that i wasnt proud of and Grey Owl knows what I mean and He even tore me up a bit once upon a time. But I have alot of respect for Ole Grey Owl now. We have buried the hatchet. The thing about this sight i notice is the ability to forgive, rethink, or agree to disagree and thats ok. We all are alike more than we would probably want to admit..doesnt matter where we are from. I have learned more on this forum in what little time ive been on here than a lifetime could give a fella. i love this place and hope to be apart of it for years to come.. Kudos to you guys and Merry Christmas
Dedicated.... ta all the sweet Bucks yet ta die!

Actually, I don't keep up....I rarely even come here anymore. I've been too busy with school, work, and I've got a new girlfriend... so I'm hardly on here.

AMEN,

This is the forum where I feel at home. Every day I visit to catch up on the news. You get to "know" a lot of people here and they become fast friends, even though I've never met one of 'em. There's a wealth of information if you listen, and I'm never too old to learn something new.

It's the MEMBERS who make it what is is. GREAT.

I haven't had a chance to get out much this season but I sure have enjoyed reading all of your stories. This is a great bunch of guys. When I joined the old forum I was shooting a RC150 and didn't know much about crossbows at all. My first post was answer by 10Ring. The detail in his answer really surprised I wish he still posted on here more often. Since then I learned a lot, not just about crossbows but about hunting as well. I'll bet more then one deer has been found because of the tracking post WW puts up every year. It's not just crossbows and hunting though I remember one guy who came on here and asked how to fix his car :!:
