I shoot a carved limb Exocet, 165lb. Its been suggested to me that I buy new limbs to beef it up, but I just don't see how that would make the deer any deader!
Hey PeterP, what happened to the Wolverine?

Vixen Deluxe. Best X-bow of the 4 I have ever owned. It is the first Excaliber I have owned. I have killed every deer I ever shot at with that
x-bow. I must admit I have only shot at one deer with it though.

Two bucks down.
I shoot a Phoenix. It rocks..
Phoenex
I am the FNG on the block with this xbow thing. I was sold a Phoenex and like it (haven't used it enough to love it). It seems to do everything expected of it. Its just that I get an iitch to trade up to an exomax. I don't think cocking it would be an issue. I worry about busting bolts during practice or burying them up past the vanes all the time. As it is the bolts go through my target block and almost through the 3/4 in plywood I have to put behind it.
