Congratulations Bill, I can not wait to see the video. I do have 2 questions though. What arrow broadhead combination did you use ? and secondly how many people will the backstraps on an elephant feed ???
I don't for a moment doubt how gruelling and hard that hunt must have been. Most of us see the video of the kill, and don't realize how hard you have to work for that shot.
Anyway, I bet you will have memories that will last a lifetime.

I used a stock Exomax with a double walled carbon arrow using extra weights and a brass insert. Front end was a Magnus 125 unvented 2 blade cut on contact head and steel adapter. Total mass weight was 900 grains, velocity around 255, hitting power about 125 foot lbs. They shot really great, the bow was quiet and actually recoiled on firing!
