Yes, I got the whole package deal, with everything in the kit. I do have the rope cocking aid and I still can't cock the bow back:-(

However, I got a tip that if I I shorten the cocking string by about an inch it will help me pull it back more easily:-) So I am going to do that and head out to the club tomorrow and see how it works.

I've kept a strict exercise regiment for the past 3 months to keep fit for the summer, however using these bows requires a whole new set of muscles to be used, so I've started doing more upper body work
--->meaning more push-ups, ugg seems like I'm going back to high school with 'em push-ups, LOL.

Can't wait till hunting season is finally here!

"Maple" for the Toronto Maple Leafs (who hopefully will have a better season this year!) and the "Vizsla" is a breed of pointing dog originating from Hungary. Comes in smooth(short) & wirehaired varieties. Vizsla means obedient and alert in Hungarian, the Vizsla is very loyal, has a keen nose and is extremely active. The are golden rust in colour, don't like the cold weather and are powerful, muscular athletes. They range from 21"-25" at the shoulders, weighing between 40#-60#. They hunt and retreive on both land and water, grouse, pheasants, quail, ducks, rabbits-Vizslas are the most versatile of the sporting group and are close ranging gun dogs. If anyone needs more info regarding the breed just let me know, I currently own 3 Vizslas and am active in Vizsla Canada and the Vizsla Society of Ontario. Sorry for getting OT!

Yes Maplevizsla, I just had to ask about your user name. I to own a Vizsla. As you say very versatile, I use mine for hunting everything from birds to deer, born to hunt and please. They are also known as the velcro dog, sticks to me where ever I go, in fact he is curled up at my feet as I type. I am a paid hunter here in New Zealand doing animal control mainly goats. My Vizsla named Lynx is the most valuable tool I have, Lethal in thick bush, awsome tracker as well as wind scent, quiet as a cat, thats why I named him Lynx. He is ideal for bow hunting.
below are a few pics.

NZ Hunter, Wow!! What a nice looking dog, and a great job too. I am jealous.
A bad day in the woods is better than a good day anywhere else.
