I think partridge hunting with the shotbow would be rather fun. :)

I would love to try either. The short bolt looks like it would very well. Not much material to catch wind or cause extra drag on a pass thru.

The shot bow I would love to see how they worked bunny hunting or to try it on duck or goose ( if it were legal ) I would be quiet . Would probably work well.

The shot bow uses the same idea some military ammo.They have shotshells loaded with Fletchettes ( tiny arrows made of steel ) Effective range of 300 meters ( my resource book states it will penetrate a steel helmet at 300 yards )
